Junior Physics - New Blog Assignment!!!

THERE WILL BE A TEST THIS FRIDAY ON KINEMATICS!!!!

Each group was given a planet. Please write about what it would take to make that planet habitable and what would life on that planet look like? How would the atmosphere need to be changed? How about the temperature? What would 11 year long years be like or 30 day long years? You could be a 12-year old toddler! Be creative! There is no wrong answer, but support why you think it should be that way! Write in paragraph form. Spelling and grammer matter. Why does spelling and grammer matter? The reason is that this is a public blog post and you want to sound intelligent, right? This assignment is due on Wednesday the latest!!! Have fun with it. It needs to be at least three paragraphs. The first could be an introduction as per how the planet was "terraformed". The second could be about life on the planet. The third could deal with a comparison between Earth and your planet. What does your planet export? What does your planet import? If you need more input on this, email us!

Here's a quick example. I took the dwarf planet, Ceres.

Ceres was terraformed in 2387. It's capitol city, Piazzi, was named after its discoverer and establish by the original colonizing astronauts. Since Ceres has little to no atmosphere, they had to bring breathable air with them. Since there are signs of water on Ceres, moisture farms were established to help stabilize the water cycle. Once the water cycle was established, a more permanent colony along with greenhouses was established.

It's always nighttime on Ceres. It can get depressing. Because there is no atmosphere to speak of, the sun shines like a giant star in the always black sky. We keep the greenhouses running off of UV lights.

This is just an example.

Oh... and by the way.... THERE WILL BE A TEST THIS FRIDAY ON KINEMATICS!!!!
